Ryan Q C Homes LTD are considered to be one of the leading Residential & Domiciliary Care Providers within Northamptonshire.

We are an independent family run organisation that prides itself on its personal, sensitive and family approach to care. Our company name is dedicated to the treasured memory of my nephew, Ryan McGonagle (17/02/1983-22/09/1984) Ryan was born with hydrocephalus and a learning disability and tragically died when he was just 19 months old, to name our company after him is our way of keeping his memory alive.

We are very proud to disclose our latest CQC Inspection Reports from October 2015 confirm that our Ratings for both of our Residential Homes have been assessed as GOOD for all categories.

The Farthings inspection report 2015       The Elms inspection report 2015

We can also confirm our Ratings for the Domiciliary Services we provide within our Supported Living Homes and within individual peoples’ homes has also been assessed as GOOD for all categories.

We believe this demonstrates our dedicated team are fully compliant with Regulation 12 of the Care Quality Commission (Registration) Regulations 2009 and the high level of care we provide fully incorporates the legislative guidelines set out in the Health and Social Care Act 2014. People who spoke to the Inspector during her recent assessment of our services confirmed that they are very happy with the care and support we provide – this included some of the people we provide support to, their relatives and several Healthcare professionals we work closely with and some of our staff team.

As a Northamptonshire County Council Approved Provider we are also subject to Inspections from NCC Contracts and Monitoring Department. Coincidentally they also undertook an Inspection of one of our Residential Homes in October 2015 and we can happily confirm we achieved a really positive result – we scored 88% out of a possible 100% for The Elms. In early November 2015 Farthings is also due to undergo a full NCC Inspection and we will post the results of this inspection when it has been completed.

Please go to the link on our Website to read our latest CQC & NCC Reports to gain further insight into the high level of services we offer the people we support.

We have also worked closely with some of the people we support to produce a User Friendly version of The Fundamental Standards, These are the standards everybody has a right to expect when they receive care. They form part of changes to the law recommended by Sir Robert Francis following his inquiry into care at Mid Staffordshire NHS Foundation Trust and became law in April 2015. We are extremely proud to confirm the Care Quality Commission  have happily accepted our version and they have informed us they will ensure this document is distributed nationally in an effort to assist all vulnerable adults and their families to understand their rights – please download your copy from our website.

As a family run business, we pride ourselves in having a very loyal, dedicated, experienced and highly motivated staff team. Many of whom have worked within our company for a considerable number of years, providing the continuity of care which we consider is essential for the people we support.

As we expand we are actively interested in meeting new people to potentially recruit into our support roles as we truly believe having a team of loyal, dynamic and diverse people working within our company is the true path to success for all parties.

The true dedication of our wonderful staff team over the 18 years the company has been established can be validated by the fact we have never needed to use Agency staff to cover a shift since we opened for business in January 1998. This has ensured that the people we support across our whole company have always known their carers and their carers have always known them and the best way to ensure the service they provide will always promote their health and well being.

We currently own 2 residential care homes and 11 supported living homes where we provide domiciliary support to people, with 1 more property in the early stages of being purpose built. We can also offer domiciliary support services within your own personal home.
